OK. We all know the AIM spindels are garbage. So I started looking into other brands. My first thought was Bell Tech. I found some random site that sells them and has a copy of there catalog on there site. God knows what year it's from but I found the part number, 2105. My question is, 1. has anyone used them? 2. There is a code next to the part discription in the catalog. The code says that stock Impala wheels can not be used. I found another site that says the stock tiers can't be used. You need smaller ones. I have 15" rims, same bolt pattern, same brakes. 3. Price. 4. Can anyone recomend another brand. Thanks. All input is greatly appreciated.

Bell Tech's are a lot better quality than the AIM ones. You can use the stock 17" SS rims, contrary to popular belief. Not sure about if you can use 15" rims with them though. If your pockets are really deep, you can even put the monster Porsche brakes from Heinz on there if I remember right (with 17" rims).

I have the Belltech spindles on my 96 SS.

With Stock rims and tires, the tires rubbed on the outside inner fender, about where the top bolt on the fenderwell is.

With 17x8 5"bs Centerlines, stock tires, I have had no rubbing.

Terry Fiene (sp?) has Belltech spindles on his car, with 15" rims.

Summit Racing has Belltech spindles for $299.

I've had them on my car since '96.

Does tire size matter?

Bill,

What color is your car? That thing looks sweet! Is there a purple sprayed over the black? I see the stripes but the glare off the car looks purple as well. Very cool though.
