Unhappy

I am going to be installing new front and rear sway bars this weekend and have reading up on needed parts. This forum said to use GM, part#15959689 for the four front sway bar bushing bolts. I went to the local dealer and he said I needed 15592554. Which ones should I get/use?

TIA

The first number is for improved bolts (non-prevailing torque, thus they are reusable), the second is the OEM bolts.

Use the first number.

I am not sure how low your springs drop and if they affect the position of the front bar, but with my sprints I had to find my own bolts and sleeves so the front sway bar will sit right. Just something to think about before buying them.

spaugh : these bolts are the four little ones (around 1" long) that hold the bar bushings to the frame, not the endlinks.

But yes, if your car is radically altered in ride height you'll need different endlinks.

Oops, I missed the part where he said four bolts, duh!. But if he still is putting another bar on it still applies on checking length of endlinks.

I just did this. Looks like we'll have the same setup! I love it. Whole new car feeling.
I also recommend the ZQ8 bump stops. .

Did you ever catch this post?

Thanks for the heads up on the bump stops, I had not heard about them, yea I did catch your post, it was influential in my decision to go with Hotchkis.
