rear spring alingment ? - Chevy Impala SS Forum

hello,hey today I noticed my rear springs are not straight up and down.I believe they were slightly tilting.is this correct or should they be directly straight.they are also bell tec 11/2 lowering coils.they are seated on the nubs with rubbers too.thanks

Its not unusual. Its always more noticeable with shortened springs. About the only way to correct it is to do some relocation of the pads to a different spot and angle depending on your desired setup. You don't need to worry about it though.

The only alignment you need to worry about is making sure the top ends of the pigtail on both springs are pointing towards the drivers side back wheel.

cool,my buddy was making a big deal about the springs. along with him picking my car apart all day long while WATCHING me install new brakes with a cast up to my knee.you know a buddy that has no car or if they do it has nothing custom what so ever ya know.all you can do is laugh at em.thanks for the info.
