hi guys, i need a little help here. im about to buy new tires but before i do i need to get rid of this problem. my front tires wear on the insides. ive had several alignments, with and without the updated specs. and ive rotated the tires to make sure it wasnt the tires that were bad. the only thing i can think of is that i replaced the the tie rods, ball joints, and idler arm about a year ago. maybe i did something wrong but i dont think so. it also likes to drift to the left but not bad. any ideas? thanks, matt

Replace the center link, tie rods and idler arm. Check and/or replace the ball joints. What size tire are you running? 275 or larger tend to wear on the inside. Do you track your air pressure? Car ever wrecked? Hit a curb hard?

my tires are 145s on the front and stock on the rear. i just replaced all the suspension stuff last year with moog parts. you think i need to replace it all already? im sure ive hit a curb or 2 but nothing serious. my tire pressure stays at 32 psi, i check it about every 2 fill ups.

I think 32 psi is too low. Excess neg camber will wear the insides but if it's been aligned, I don't know. Shims fell out? On my kdws stock size, the max psi is 44. I normally run @40 psi on my weekend driver(95 SS). I don't have that many miles on these but I think I'm getting a little excess wear in the center, so I'll drop to 36 rear & 38 front unless one of the SS experts can advise me on better settings. Is the same shop doing your alignments?

Babyhauler - the 44 psi that is on the side of the tire is the MAXIMUM for the tire - not what you are supposed to run it at. Check the driver's door label for the proper tire size and inflation. I'm not sure how to decide proper inflation pressures if you change from the stock size a whole lot - other than air it up and see 1) how they wear, 2) how it feels SOTP and 3) how it handles in your preferred driving mode.
