I've got the rear air bags in and plan on doing the fronts labor day weekend. I have one quick question though. I plan on using a homemade version of the kent-moore tool to seperate the upper ball joint from the spindle to gain access. But I'm wondering when I go to put it back together do I need a press or clamp? Or does just tightening the castle nut down draw everything back together?
Thanks,
Robert

No special tool is needed for re-attaching the spindle to the ball joints. Just tighten the nuts to the appropriate torque specs. That'll seat the stud into the bore in the spindle.

most factory upper ball joints are riveted in, all of the aftermarket ball joints are bolt in. Simple as tightening 4 bolts on each side and your done
