For direction parts use MOOG, I change the Idler arm on mine and there was a big improvement (the original was finish). Changing all the part (2 outer tie rod, 2 inner tie rod, 2 adjusters sleeve and 1 center link) with an alignment about 1h30min max.

These are the part number for the Moog parts:

Idler Arm = Moog problem solver K6187T
Tie Rod Outer = ES20202LT
Tie Rod Inner = ES2019LT
Adjuster sleeve = ES2004S
Center Link = DS899

Hope this help

About how much are all those parts together? I gotta do mine (never have). Are they easy to install? Could I do it myself then take it to get aligned or does it have to be done at the same time?

If you are replacing everything you can use a tie rod end separator and remove from outer tie rod to spindle on both side and then center link to idler arm and steering box. With all the parts on the ground you are left with all the parts link together. Assemble the new parts together and refer you self to the old for the dimension this will give you a basic alignment (at least something you can drive with to the alignment shop) then bolt all this back together to the car (I don't have the torque spec to install does somebody do?) Don't forget to put grease in the new parts and then go to the alignment shop.

Try Discountautoparts.com. They will give you 5% off their web posted prices if you tell them you belong to "the Impala Club." I believe Moog is a part of Federal Mogol, but they do not sell at retail.
If you decide to buy from Discountautoparts tell Joe That I sent you. It doesn’t do me any good, but they will know you came from this list. I believe the tie rod ends, idler arm and center link (no tie rod sleeves) came to about $151, (add shipping) a couple of weeks ago. Working off memory here, so I could be off a little.
