i've been looking into buying some lowering kits but there are so many options. the first thing i thought when i wanted to lower my car was belltech spindles and do it the right way, but there 2 inch spindles wont work with stock rims.
the 1.5 inch front/back drop is like $289 for all 4 springs but will i really see a big diffrence and is it really work the 289 for only 1.5 inches. If not belltech then what would anyone suggest i get to lower my car? i dont want too low, something streetable. another issue is caster and camber. if i get the lowering springs can i adjust caster and camber enough that i dont get crooked wearing tires?

You shouldnt have a tire wear problem with Hotchkis springs if you have a proper alignment. If you do its probably something in your front end that isnt keeping it aligned (ie ball joints). If you really want a 'lower' drop, then Hotchkis might not be for you. Eibachs , I think, will give you more. Only thing is that over time, they settle more and more, causing rubbing. I am not to familiar with others out there, like sprint, so I will leave that up to someone else to answer. I Have the Hotchkis setup. Check my link below to see the stance. Does anyone know if DJM makes quality springs? They claim 2-3" drop on a caprice. I have purchased from them when i was into sport trucks and had no problems. DJM caprice drop

BTW: Check out the group purchase section. There are great prices With FREE shipping on Hotchkis products. $218 for all 4 springs arent bad.
I would highly recommend some good shocks too. But it all depends how much you are willing to spend.
Hals (best shock out there according to owners here) $500+
Bilsteins = $260-300 (shox.com)
Use the search feature and you will find tons of info.

I had a set of Intrax springs in my Caprice and I didnt have any problems with them. They lowered the car 1.8" . I bought them from Summit Racing for $189.00 if I remember right.

I dropped my Caprice with a set of stock SS springs and it was a waste of time.

I have Intrax on the SS, and I love them. Combined with the wheel/tire combo, it handles amazingly well (stock bars). Not in the weeds low, just low enough. I DRIVE it, too. Daily, road trips, racing, you name it. Soft enough to soak up small bumps, stiff enough for silly on-ramp speeds.

check my sig.

I have ST's on the front and Hotchkis on the rear, I realy like the way the car sits with this spring combo, I used to have the Hotchkis in the front as well but the front was a little to high for my taste, the car is 100% every day drivable and I don't have any rubbing problems at all.
