Question

I got the complete Hotchkis X-tend kit that has the upper and lower control arms. I've already got the lowers on, but didn't put the uppers on because I was told that they would be too stiff for normal driving/not necessary. They are also adjustable. Any suggestions? I'd like to put them on, but if they'll negatively affect handling/performace I'd rather not.

You think that stiffer arms will screw up handling more than a wrong pinion angle? I would definitely put the uppers on.

Wink

You Definately need to put the uppers on..

As stated before, the wrong pinon angle is much worse than the bushing stiffness..

Also, you can do what I did and NOT Install the Polly Bushings on the Axle, I still have the OEM Rubber mounts on the pumpkin and havent had ANY of the afore mentioned binding issues in my Impala.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the info. They're just sitting in a box here so when I get my 3.73's installed, I'll bring them along as well as my extended yoke and see what they suggest.
