Yesterday, I was underneath my car and noticed that the right front shock seemed to have oil all over it. The only thing I can think of is that one of the seals blew. I didn't really have time to check it out, though, as it was getting late. I haven't noticed any difference in the way the car handles, but I can't think of any other reason the shock would have oil on it. I know of at least one person (MIKE454SS) who had HAL shocks blow. I figured I'd call the company and see what they had to say, but thought I'd check on the Forum too. It seems hard to believe that the shock could be blown and I wouldn't feel a difference, but it definitely had oil on it and I don't know where else it could come from. Maybe it didn't blow, but it burped? I don't know.
