Ok i am wondering is it really worth going to extended length control arms in the back? I know its for looks but is there any other gain for going with them? I am going with a set of 11's in the back so I will need a set of control arms but I am just trying to figure out if its really worth the extra cost of extended arms.

TIA

Like you said, it's just for looks. That's the only upside. The downsides include:

1) You have to replace the uppers AND the lowers if you go extended, which costs more money, and the uppers are a pain in the ass to swap.

2) You change your wheelbase slightly, putting even more of the weight of the car in front of the drive axle.

3) You risk needing to buy an extended length driveshaft.

To clarify Knightshade's point, the extra weight in front of the drive axle makes it a lot harder to get the tires to stick when you launch.
