I've got the Roadmonster up in the air, frame on stands. Unbolted the shocks and let the axle down as far as it will go. But there is not enough room to get the springs off.
They are still sandwiched in nice and tight. It appears that the upper control arms are resting on a lip of the frame. The FSM doesn't mention using a spring compressor, but I'm thinking I might have to use one. Even then, it is going to be real tight getting those springs out of there. Should I just unbolt the control arms? Or go get a compressor? I sure hope I don't have to remove the tailpipes for room, they look pretty rusty.
