Are you looking for a 4L60E builder or are you considering a TH400?
I don't spray YET but keep thinking about it and may by yearend.
What I plan to do is continue with the ProBuilt and use an ignition box with a window switch to shut it off during the shifts.
If pretty much just a race car I may consider a TH400 and spray right through the shifts.
The window switch will serve to keep a 4L60E alive on spray much like the newer LSX cars do with the "torque managment" where the pcm is programmed to reduce timing through the shift. Less power during the shift is less abuse.
i know probuilt and cpt and teamtripp all make great transmissions and have a great rep with the site but im wondering if there built trannys can handle nitrous (not threw the shifts(window switch))???
And what makes them different then a couple other companies out there that make 4l60e trannys built for alot less then the known?
I'm staying on the juice during the 1-2 shift and my 4L60 is hanging together so far. If this one tanks it's either a 4L80 or T56 for me.
