My friend just fixed my 95 wagon lock tumbler

Tumbler came with chipless key. He forgot to have it rekey for $35 to old chip key before installing,so now I have to get GM dealer to make new chip key. Old chip key is a #9 (3000 ohm). How much should it cost? Then I like to get 2 more key made more cheaply, but how.....Money real,Wife in bad shape, costing high, will take my house...Oldhead

The cost of a chiped key is cost of the key blank+Labor to cut the key blank.

I bought locks and keys from:

Car Locks and Keys

They shipped to Canada and were cheaper than buying local. My local locksmith cut the key but was not happy.

OEM Vats Keys and secondary keys for GM vehicles and help decoding a Vats Key.

VATS keys seem to be $8-$10 Then you pay to have them cut.

So just like your headliner call many locksmiths and find the cheapest one. When you get a key cut always take the first out to the car and check it, then each one at the end.
