Compustar Alarm with GPS tracking for 96 Impala?

So I'm thinking about getting this alarm http://www.compustar.com/products/computrack/ it's suppost to be the best alarm around. Full time GPS tracking and all the other goodies, hood pins trunk pin, auto start. I aslo want all my windows to roll up when I activate the alarm. If the car is stolen I can shut down the car, with my phone or with an internet access. Everything is recorded and I have all the stats on my phone or internet. It sounds like a very good piece of mind. Price about $1,900. Any suggestions or comments would help out. Thks

ha ha I went with the viper 5901. with most of the features. I'm pretty happy with it, ignition kill, all four windows go up when I activate the alarm, trunk pin, hood pin, and a whole bunch of features I dont even know how to set up or use lol.

well first of all. if the thief steal ur car ur alarm is going to be going off and they'll do more than cut the siren off. your alarm would have a kill switch relay on the starter wire so they will get under the dash and RIP that **** out. if they cant rip it out then they obviously cant start the car so therefore your car will STILL be in front of your house but radio, system, etc will be stolen.

IMO not worth spending the money on until they do something like james bond and zap the person who try to pry the key cylinder or slim jim the vehicle.

I have the exact same setup!! $1900 holy cow. I have the best compustar alarm. The one that has the furthest range and that was $500 installed up here in Philly. And the gps is awesome. Especially since u can work it thru text messages from ur cell phone. I can start my car with a text message from 5,000 miles away or more. And they gps was $600 installed. All done by a specialized Compustar Dealer www.ksautotek.com

That's the gps part that allows u to text message the car. U can start, kill, honk horn, flash lights, locate the car, and a bunch of other stuff through a text message. And it works from any distance!

Yeah later on I could get the Computrack system with the viper alarm I currently have I was told. I'm pretty happy with the vper 5901, the reason I bought it was because I was stuck with this car audio company and I bought a cheap alarm system and with no refund, I bought the best alarm they sell which was the viper 5901.
