Hornet remote start not working

I've had a hornet alarm on my ss about 10 yrs now. For the first fe years it worked perfectly but after that, when I try to start the car with the remote the car just clicks a few times but doesn't start. But the unlock/ lock works along with the roll up/down windows with the remote. Any ideas of what it can be?

If it was 10yrs ago you probably have a bad relay. I would try to locate them & replace them all...

mine just died. clifford RSX3.5 . i was without alarm for almost 2 weeks. at times i slept in the car out of fear that my car would be jacked. only had the alarm for 5 years. i think it just that alarm dont last forever. i took a tester light on the power and ground of the alarm and its receiving power but no respond. i just bought a AVITAL alarm system. they are directed electronic system and the harness plug right up . so no need to redo or cut any wires.

ur not having the same problem but i believe ur relay is shot.
