The keyless/security/remote starts at my shop start around 300.00 and go up to 700.00 depending on the features you get. Any thing from two-way paging, color displays, one mile range, and such. I would check with our local shop on the brands they sell then research them on the internet. Most shops labor is included in the total price. As far as the windows goning up and down you can add the modules for between 75 to 100. hope this helps.

OR....

you can get all the trouble and have the alarm installed urself ! it's not as hard as u think. make the effort and u'll see it's pretty simple job installing an alarm.

the window roll up is an accessory. u add the window roll up to the -(output) when arm wire on the alarm so when u shut the door the window will roll up as soon as u arm the car. save u the trouble. and if u connect another wire for power down trigger to 3rd channel or second channel of ur alarm output wire u can press a button and roll the window down urself. save u the trouble. all this by a professional would take them an hour and a half. for a rookie maybe 3-6hours. for the money u'll save it's really worth it. this installation could cost u 500-700 easy, do it urself and it would cost u nearly 300 total.

exactly what u mean by HELP? as in ME installing the alarm and window modcule or explaining everything to you? why dont u take the time right now and save urself the trip?

go to my other thread under security/alarm system called impala/caprice wire diagram. those are all the wire colors that are on your car with the location. now when u buy an alarm there's an installation manual book in the box. go toward the end of the pages and there should be a picture of the alarm with lines of wires and what they means. for example RED constant +12. black ground, yellow ignition input, white parking light etc. etc. the RED is constant power.. and under the wire diagram the red wire on the ignition is constant power. there's many ways to connect these wires. ghetto ways or professional. what i did was use electric tape and expose the copper in red ignition wire and wrap the REd wire coming from the alarm onto the copper and tape it cover. i pretty much did this with every other wires. works fine for me. this is not as hard as u think

I bought my alarm online for like $200(Python 990), 1 mile range, remote start, and a bunch of features I could have added but didn't... I got it installed at circut city(the guys did all my installs and were very good, too bad its gone now), It was only $175 for install and took like 2 hours... I love the remote start, I start it with the AC on right before Im done with work(outside job in the sun) and I get into a nice cold car... I would not try it myslef, just pay and save your self the trouble...
