Question alpine sec rc001

my 96 has a alpine sec rc 001 and when i bought the car from a dealer they said the previous owner "unhooked" it... id like it to work again... I noticed that my horn was unplugged. I pluged it back in and now when i start my car the horn honks on short beep. also he put a small blue led by the shifter, and when i press the horn button the led flashes a few times. i found a small pressure switch under the fuse panel cover on the side of the dash. ive also noticed that it has shock sensors which makes me think it was a pretty good alarm. its also tied into the mercury switch on the trunk and hood light. also ive had my pass key fault kick in a couple times... after i let the car sit for a couple minutes it starts just fine... any ideas guys??? thanks in advance all!!!

1996 Black Impala SS. Cold air intake, edelbrock shocks, 7in flip out DVD. Blue led interior swap in the works, Blue bowtie, blue calipers with silver impala ss vinyls. blacking out in progress!
