Door handle trigger.

looking for ideas how to make a door handle trigger switch. to some people this might be an overkill but i like my alarm to blare if someone pull on my door handle. i could rig this to the door pin switch so that my pager alarm beep like the door been opened. any suggestion?

i thought about using a remote control ground side terminal with the springs ground to metal., attach it to the side of the handle so when pulled it would touch a piece of metal that's wire to the alarm. hard to explain but is there anything like it?

Is your system a make ground or a make open? If it is a make ground, a small push on release off switch positioned on the inside of the door at the handle so that if the handle is moved, the switch is pressed. The same scenerio with a push to break, or a release to break would work too. I have some microswitches that would work. $5 for 5 shipped. You would have to make small mounting brackets for the switches. The same piece, or a mirror image should work on all doors.
