I've got a Theft Avert brand (according to the window sticker) alarm system on my wagon. I hate this *&^% thing! It is wired to my horn and it gets set off all the time (I have 4 kids).
Anyone know how I can disable this thing? I searched the forum and the net, but couldn't find anything.

You probably shouldn't disable it, you may want to look under the dash for the alarm shock sensor and make an adjustment to make it less sensitive. If you don't know what it looks like you may be able to a internet search for the alarm company and possibly find some helpful info. there. Or search under you dash for a small monetary switch, most alarms have this switch so you put the alarm in a valet mode ,most call for you to place the key in ignition ,turn on and quickly press and hold this button till your alarm led stays lit, then turn the key off and remove your keys ,to enable follow this same procedure again.
