well i had the alarm installed by a pro and then had the shop that did my audio system install add in the window and proximity sensor addons and everything seemed fine untill i noticed i minor thing that alarm did before installing the addons which is that the alarm will normally lock my doors when the car is started and it didn't do that anymore.

so the guy at the shop said that he could program it to do that again but he claims the alarm doesn't want to save the changes to its memory

anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I don't see why it wouldn't want to do it. I have the same alarm. I also bought the programmer so you don't have to do the beep beep crap to program it. He's gotta have it too. I don't know why it wouldn't save though.
