I've had my ss for two years and the pass key fault light has been on since it does not stop my car from starting or nothing but it would be nice to have that light out.Can anyone help me with this , I dont want to take the bulb out of the dash ,but it looks like sh** at night with that bright light on in my car!

There is a wire that can be cut and have a resistor soldered in that has the proper resistance. You are supposed to measure the resistance of the 'pellet' that is in the key with a multimeter, but if the light is on I guess there could be a problem with the key.
Keep in mind this is just from reading what others have said about passkey, I dont have to worry about it with my 9c1 [img]tongue.gif[/img]
