91 occ cruise control

My cruise control isn't working in my 91 occ. I've recently bought this vehicle. Changed out vss module brake switch cruise control stock and cruise control module from my 93 Caprice. Well everything worked that I swapped from the wagon to the Caprice. But cruise control still won't work on my wagon. No shorts or open circuits. Are the cruise control modules interchangeable from 91 to 93??

The units are the same for 91-93. You need a FSM to troubleshooting it. It could be in the stalk, or the steering column wiring.

1991 OCC 461 (.030 over 454) BBC, 3.23 posi, flash to pass, drop spindles & springs, Impala rims, Hydroboost, Recaros, MOMO/wood SW w/QR, custom wood shift knob, Pioneer DEH P77DH
1992 OCC now with 5.7 tbi, DEH P77DH

I've got a FSM. I've done all the troubleshooting they show. Ohmed out all wires none show short or open line. I've changed the stalk on the column and everything. I'm lost now

I have a 92 OCC that has an inop CC. I have not done any troubleshooting yet. When I get around to it, I will let you know what I have found. There were a couple of threads about placing a resistor across two wires to give you a ground, but I do not know which thread it was. I did the mod, and it did not help.

There was also a rumor that the third brake light was involved in the circuit, and that seems to be only a rumor.
