1 Removed roof rack now to figure out what to do about the holes
2 Removed rear wiper motor
3 removed busted rear bumper cover, waiting on my roll pan to come
4 stripped all the trim around fenders
5 removed all moulding on doors body and tailgate
6 removed bottom chrome trim on the doors but don't like the look, wondering is there any kind of rubber type moulding that can go there? I want to paint it the same color as the car.
7 Replaced front bumper cover
8 Tailgate bottom latch had ripped the sheet metal at all three bolt holes so I had to weld it.
9 Put shocks on tailgate glass
All this done today after helping a friend (well he looked) remove his upper control swing arm on his 94 Imp I am tired as hell

Replaced the right rear regulator in the White elephant, was going to do more, but found out the 96 regulators are different from the 92 regulators. I had to go get another regulator.

I would have finished more, but I found some really interesting stuff in the JY including a set of Corvette Superior rims with 255/50/16 tires, and a removable hard top for a 76 MB 450SL.

Replaced the front disks and brake pads (and bearings) took off the complete roof rack and prepared her for the painter. She's getting a new coat of paint on the roof, hood and the rear right panel. (same colour)

1. Put new exhaust manifold gaskets on after months of hearing "tick, tick, tick" under the hood. Glad to say it's finally quiet under there.

2. Got my keyless entry working after finding out that my car was equipped with it from the factory.

3. Replaced the front driver's side door lock solenoid after a year and a half of owning the car.

4. I'm in the middle of fixing my fuel level float after it finally fell off (a shop replaced my fuel pump late last year and admitted that they damaged, but then fixed, the float). The tank is mostly dropped, just need to remove the high pressure lines before pulling the tank out and working on that float.

5. Broke the rear cargo area dome light lens. :(

That's a good idea, I was trying to decide where to mount the switches for my surface to surface missles too!

I loaded my new Boss 338's & 20" tires into the back of it to take to work later this week and install. Still have to install my new polished alum valve covers, K&N cold air kit, polished oil cooler, Corvette fuel rail covers and waiting for a set of Edelbrock headers to arrive in the mail sometime this week. I've got a nice set of boxed lower rear control arms and a 9C1 rear swaybar to install later this summer when Jason Lachappelle comes down east to visit his relatives, hopefully I can find some spare time to get all this accomplished along with some work needed on my '72 Centurion and '70 GS Stage 1 and do some cruising and racing. If the price of gas doesn't come down I might end up just cruising in my '48 Crosley stn. wagon! :D

Put another 800 miles on it... like just about every other week. Gonna give the 96 RMW a break soon when I start driving the 89 Caprice Estate for a few months...

I tried to replace the PS front window run channel. It did not work out well, and I am back to square one (see thread in exterior section). Also tried to paint part of the interior panel from the same door...dark maple red paint turned pink. Fortunately I have an extra door panel, so my butt is still safe. I am glad I did not try painting the DS panel first, I do not have an extra one of those.

What Dark Maple Red paint did you use?

That scares me, a lot.

I let it dry overnight and reshot it again today...worked out fine. It really looks nice now. I do not know what the problem was. It cost me almost a can of paint. Pic of the dashpad, and the pink paint before respray.

I used SEM paint. It worked great on my dashpad, but the hard plastic on the door turned pink (front top panel). I put a coat of SEM primer on it, and it still turned pink.

Which number paint?

If I remember correctly, it is 4565.

Hmmm... I wonder what the other one mentioned in that thread would come out like.

Got any pics of your dash?

In the last week or so I installed T/S and a two way alarm with keyless entry and remote start. Then I was installing a (cheap) double din head unit, but before I cut my lower dash I noticed that the outputs from the RCAs were putting out less than 1 volt so back to looking for a another head unit. This was my 94 Caprice wagon.

The RED switch will be for my wife's ejection seat.

(Notice it's the first switch next to me.)

Cleaned her up, fueled her up, and hit a car show last Saturday. About a 90 mile one way run. Weather was perfect!!! :D
