I have a 66 SS with console. there is a light on the back end of the console and I got all the wiring figured out except...... how is the lid switch wired in to that light. the switch is broken for sure. so a few things. What happens to that light when the console is opened??? what does that switch operate? Please help if you have the answer.
Well, where to start?
-You went through all the trouble to sign up to a forum for last gen B/D-bodies to make your very first ever post regarding a '66 anything?
-You made your first ever post something besides introducing yourself?
-I'm not sure, but weren't there other models with SS trim that year besides the Caprice? If that's even the one you're asking about?
You might luck out and someone here knows mid-'60's console lighting.
