‘95 Roadmaster Wagon Horn Button Stuck

My horn is sticking on my ‘95 RMW. Apparently this is a common issue? Digging through this forum, I’ve found some threads talking about a Radio Shack Button Fix but I have not been able to find the step by step thread with pix. Does anyone have this link saved? Or are there suggestions for a different fix that will last a while?

Not sure if you saw this but found this thread and maybe it will be helpful....

Personally and after having my AB's deploy (twice) and destroy my dash, I just removed them both and went with an aftermarket wheel. Something to consider if you have no luck figuring out the Stock airbag/Horn issue.

After my horn became stuck, I found one from a 96 Lesabre and it was stuck on too. One thing I've heard of someone doing is taking the airbag/horn off and disconnecting one of the 2 horn button connections on the backside. Doing this will allow one side of the horn pad to be used. Of course, you won't know which one could be stuck so it'll be one or the other (or both) horn button contacts. Will be trial and error.

If both are stuck, then the only easy options are to find another airbag/horn that may work or simply pull the horn button harness off (so the horn doesn't blow) and add a stand alone button somewhere. Personally, after being unsuccessful replacing the horn, I installed a stand alone momentary switch (button) on the lower dash panel. The button is simple to wire up. You simply wire one terminal on the button to ground and the other to the black horn wire on the steering column harness, which is underneath the steering column. I tapped into an existing ground behind the kick panel.
