Im trying to get ready for the summer so i recently turned on my ac... to my suprise it was blowing hot air. I checked the freeon pressure and it was fine, the compressor was engaging like it should but i still was getting hot i changed the orofice and recharged the system but it still blew hot air.

You probably should of posted this in the Engine Maintenance/Problems or Misc sections.

Sounds like your compressor is done. I bet if you do a pressure check on the low pressure side, it will read high. Not sure the exact numbers, but the pressure kit has instructions. Never try to charge a compressor that is reading high on the low side . If you're using one of the kits from the auto parts store, you could end up with an explosion.

What are the reading? High and Low preasure along with the outside air temp.
