Brian,
Would you be bringing your car from California for the Nats? If not you wouldn't need a competition license.

No, Im actually from the Chicago area and just out in California for the winter. I'm going to be back in Chicago all summer, and Id love to come to the nats, check out some baddd b and d bodies and get in on some autocross and road racing, since I havent gotten the chance yet! Id love to enter, and $160 for non members is defintely a fair price, but Id also like to be a ISSCA member, and if Id get all those perks, plus a discount on the entry fee, Im all for it!

Brian;

Yes, it's $160 for a non-ISSCA member to attend, a slight increase over what members would pay. Basically it's an incentive to join ISSCA for only $3 more. We want you in the club!

That $160 includes your event fees, your competition license, and an adult buffet ticket for the awards ceremony.

ISSCA Members would pay the following:
Event Fee: $70.00
Competition License: $35.00
Additional Adult Buffet Ticket: $18.00
Total = $123.00

Now I'm no rocket scientist but I know that $160 minus $123 is a $37 vig for non-members.

Since ISSCA Membership for 1 year is only $40, it's a good reason to join ISSCA for a year. It will only cost an extra $3 and you will get the ISSCA SScene (Impala magazine)plus access to the ISSCA Forum, among other benefits. So if you pay $163 you go to the event as a member, and you can pay $160 and not be a member. Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

Please go to www.goissca.org for more info and to register.

Hope to see you at Indy!

Regards,

Bill

Im moving back to Chicago for the summer, so I'll be driving my car down from there. Does that mean I wouldnt need to buy the $35 competition license? I'm a little confused.
