I have no idea about confirmations. I've never received one in the past but if you paid by Paypal, that's your receipt. Heather in the office works about 3-5 hours a day, processing renewals, orders, registrations and she has her hands FULL! I talk to her at least once a week and she is always busy.
The ISSCA website and Renewals are TOTALLY SEPARATE! Renewals through the website does not give you automatic access to the website. It's done manually. The Paypal and renewals goes to the office and the website registration goes to the webmaster, Dave Wilson (dW). Once he receives your website registration, he checks it against his list for current members. It may take 24-48 hours.
The website is limited to ISSCA members because it's one of the BENEFITS to being a member. We are planning a "tour" section of the website for the new/prospective members but we all have full time jobs and family and we can only do so much. Please bear with us.
We don't have any 'cliques' within ISSCA. We all work together, have fun together and invite ANYONE to join us. THe problems of the past are just that, the PAST. We have a good group of diverse people on the BoD that is looking forward to making ISSCA better than ever.
Hang in there man. We do hear you and listen as well as all the ISSCA members. We have a separate forum in the website to voice your opinions, problems, solutions, etc... to make it easier to contact us. I know that in the past it seemed like there was a separation between the BoD and the members. We are bridging that gap and making it easier for ANYONE to contact us.
