Sail panel... or whatever

Scored some lighted roadmaster pieces for the sail or c pillar. Free got lighting wires and all. Was bout to put them on tonite and noticed the passenger piece doesnt fit in the surround. Thyre all gm pieces but has straight cut instead of angle. The drivers side has angle to fit. Anyone elses like this?

Far as i know car was all original. Plus i dobnt think many grandmas are worried bout these lights.

Check that you have them oriented correctly. The back is straighter vertically than the front. The connector goes to the rear.

You may have the trim piece on the wrong side, in relation to the light.

I checked both sides. Other side fits n perfectly. Dont think can get em backwards cuz how pins are set. Original ones on car both have the angle to em. Maybe ended up with factory f up ha

They may both be for the same side.
