I just bought the rarest Roadmaster

Just picked up a 92 Buick Roadmaster Limited in Canyon Yellow. My most favorite and rarest color. Only seen one before in real life (wrecked in the scrapyard) 10 years ago... saw one for sale last year but couldn't sell my car intime.

Two months ago my baby was just born
and my 86 Lincoln Town Car was having a fuel delivery issue I couldn't figure out so i becan looking. Between Facebook and Craigslist I saw 4 in this color from Port Huron MI, to Knoxville TN. Tried to get at all of them and they all sold before I could get there (the TN one was too far to deal with)

Oddly enough the one closest to me was not sold, although he had pulled the ad. 61000 original miles, not in the gratest shape but still nice. A 6 or 7 out of 10. He loved the car and hated the color. If I had waited one more day he would have kept it. Because i liked the color so much he did the deal, and I spent more than i normally would have but thats what the guy needed to replace his wrecked trailer for his lawn maintenance business. He was however a really nice guy and I gladly gave him what he needed.. He delivered the car to my door for me.

On the Buick forums there is a small blurb about a car in this color and according to a vin decoder compnine.com there were 179 hardtops and 93 with the padded quarter roof. 292 total... I have a padded one and not all of them were yellow like mine, some were tan to match the int.

And here are the pics the day I bought her

That Roadmaster would look right at home at the Iowa State Fair's butter cow exhibit.

I go to WagonFest in Waterloo NY most every year in July. There is also a good size car show in Geneva NY, the next town at the same time. I always see a 1992 Roadmaster sedan, with the same Canyon Yellow with a maroon interior either at the show or around town. It is owned by an older gentleman who keeps it in pristine shape. I'm sure I have pictures of it, I will try to find one and post it.

Someone has a Canyon Yellow with MAROON INTERIOR... I was contimplating buying a white roadie with red interior and an LT1 and have it painted that yellow because I didn't think it existed in that combo... My beige is clean but 10x more would i rather have red... I even thought about gutting my interior and making it red or maybe tan/red two-tone...

The red interior if factory, is either a one off special order or stupid rare, ive never even seen a picture of one with that combo

Pics please of yellow/red Roadie

Roads... Where we're going we don't need roads.
