The top reveal molding is usually destroyed when removing the glass. You can get a universal one that is smooth, or an OEM style that has a groove in it.
The bottom is the hardest part to get off, because it is at an angle from the outside, and the inside is blocked my the dash pad. If you have the glass, removing the old one with a wire is possible. You should remove the A pillar trim inside and the side reveal moldings from the outside. You also have to remove the cowl to access the front.
