Formal Re-introduction: 1996 Buick Roadmaster Limited

I just wanted to pop in officially and introduce myself again. I was semi-active on the board when I owned my 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. I sold it as I got out of the Air Force back in 2010. I replaced it with a 2006 Silverado SS with 30K miles on it. Fast forward through a bit, I bought a few Chevelles, a First Gen Monte Carlo and sold a few away after meeting my wife on R&R in 2011. I sold the SS truck after we married and was sent out here to Hawaii for a few months. The plan was to play with my T-top Monte Carlo and use it as my driver. That didn't work so I bought a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Limited from a local dealer here in Honolulu with only 64K miles on it. A former member here owned it and I guess he had orders out and the maintenance needed caused him to part ways. I threw a new a/c compressor and some seat belts at it via my connection back in Texas. I started driving it and fell in love with the sleeper nature of these "other" LT1 powered B-body's once again. Enough talk, here are some pics. Oh yeah this car is coming to Texas with me when we leave.

I tinted the windows in preparation for that strong south Texas sun. Here in Hawaii it is mild at best, but the rain gets kinda old so A/C and adding the tint later helped keep things sane while driving in wonderful H1 traffic.

That is a nice looking Roadmaster. Any interior pictures?

It's a little hard telling the color, some pictures it looks tan and other pictures silver.

Enjoy it!

Thanks, I loved the color of the Roadmaster ever since I found it for sale.It will stay this color for as long as I own it. It will need a re-spray soon. It has a few bad spots needing cleaned up.

The Monte SS is doing alright. The 383 is getting a few tweaks soon to bump up the numbers.

In my opinion, Hawaii is great for vacations. Living here on Oahu is over rated. Traffic sucks, cost of living is high, and yep it's an island. Road trips consists of taking laps around the island for a few hours. I'm glad to say I have lived here but I am looking forward to the wide open spaces of the mainland soon.

The previous owner removed it way before I found it for sale. If it was in tact, I would have left it.
