Angry Wire Wheel Cover Locking nuts?

I have these wheel covers that I would like to install on my Roadmaster, but It seems I first have to find a different type of locking nut, I looked online and it seems there are 4 different styles, which are color coded, Green, Red, Yellow, and silver (guess that's a metal one) And i'm wondering which one will fit these, I know it's not the plastic green ones, because that's what's on my other wheel covers...

...If anybody could help, i'd definately appreciate it!, Even better if you happen to have a spare set of 4 nuts, brackets, and a tool.

Dose nobody here have these wheel covers? They seem to be for sale all over the place, even found one set with the locking wrench, but no nuts...Perhaps someone could go take a peek if they have these particular wheel covers? I'd love to be able to put these on, mine are on there last legs, and look like rubbish...

the only car I ever had with the locking wire caps were on a 86 Cutlass, and I ran the caps without the locks with no problem.

maybe a trip to the hardware store for a suitable replacement bolt that would thread into the towers.... just a brainfart

Good idea, unfortunately, the brackets won't work either, they would take about a 1 inch nut, and the size hole on these covers is about a 13 MM...I might, however, attempt to try one with the bracket removed and see if it stays on, with no lock, As it is now, they don't even fit because the bracket keeps from putting them completely on the rim.

Wire Wheel Cover Locking nuts?

Mid-late 80's Cadillac's had this sort of set-up. Perhaps, a salvage yard can point you in the right direction.

That sounds then like the set I found on Ebay would work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-G-M-LOCK...6d0813&vxp=mtr

Wire Wheel Cover Locking nuts?

Rims on Cadillac always seemed shallow, and all the 80's stuff was metric. They will probably work,or can be made to work.

Well these covers don't stick out as much in the center like the ones I have right now do, So I think these would work, they seem to be a little bit recessed even I'd say. So I will see about getting this set, and hope it works. I'll let you know how it goes.

the green set should work for those hubcaps unless they arent as deep as the locking retainer...if they are shallower keep the locknut and the tool and find another retainer that bolts onto the wheel...heres the locking tool the locking nut and the retainer that bolts onto your rim which should work...

the set you looked at on EBAY is a locking set for front wheel drive cars...the part that attaches to the rim is wayy too shallow to fit around the front wheel bearing and bearing cap on the front wheel...they wont work in my opinion and thats 100$ gamble...your choice
