heater problem

whent on a long trip yesterday and found out that after driving for a while, the heater fan still runs good, but the vents seem to "shut", no air is coming out of the vents at any positions.any ideas?

heater problem

Perhaps a vacuum line to the valve/motor in the ducts has come off. If none of the controls work,I'd suspect the supply line going to the intake manifold. It's on the passenger side,towards the back.

thanks but what puzzle me is the fact that this happens only after a while..this morning, everything was ok, then it stopped again after a while driving??

That happen to my car 2 days later it only worked on high, I found its the resistor pack under the dash good luck man.

The fan works ok on all position, all the time but the vents are shutting off after a while.
