Posi Unit questions....

Is the posi unit from a 1992 Roadmaster sedan made by Auburn and can it be rebuilt? The posi in the Impala isn't working and while scavenging the local junkyard, we came across the Buick. According to the RPO codes it's a posi with 3.08 gears. Still tossing around ideas on how to fix the Impala, what the best option would be...Any input would be appreciated

Posi Unit questions....

Auburn posi-traction units are not rebuildable. I use/recommend the Eaton posi, but there are some other popular choices too.
