Recommended style of emblem over the hole?
No? Slapped on the grille?
I did an Escalade rear on my front, but was told with my 2nd one that they either did or will soon discontinue it separate without being glued to the colored keydisk. Find an Escalade and you'll know what I mean.

I had to rout out the grille to make the emblem lay flush, and had to relieve the crest in the middle and bend it to make it form to the grille bow curve - used 5 minute epoxy.

I bought that new DTS rear deck crest-n-wreath for the trunk and the angle matches perfect without modding. When I do the front again I'll just get a new stock grille and try that back one on the front too.

I used a emblem I bought on eBay. It was plastic and had 3M on the back. I heated it with a blow dryer and bent it to fit the peak in the center of the grill.

I took it off because I liked the gun sight alone better

Yellow-,

Once I get past the glare of all that chrome . . . .

I think I see the issue. That paltry grille emblem was scaled perfectly to merely compete with the sight. Losing one or the other was a good call. BTW, I wish my Silverstars would burn out after over 4 years so's I could look into them neat lights you got.

Big-, whatcha' gonna do man? You got to be mighty manly to carry off an emblem as big as mine.

Hey brad, I always loved ur grill set up. How did you get the mesh to stick? What kind of mesh did you use? Did you paint the entire grille the color of the car?

Thanks Chris, when I had the hole filled in the hood I also had the grille, headlight and taillight trim painted. The mesh is extruded aluminum and I attached it to the back of the grille by drilling some small holes in it and tie wiring it with stainless.
