Man do I hate Winter to pieces. Garage gets even colder than outside most days, - sucks for tinkering. The icestorms around here have added that extra special little b.s. to the mix too.

You boys down south need to pick up the slack for us yankees for a couple months. Meets? Mods? Any special something planned to get done by the Nats up here in June?

And don't look for much news from out west - they're getting treated to some snow and ice too!

Alright Black you asked for it. Here's my latest most timely mod. It's actually Navy Lifers mod as I just copied the details exactly from this https://impalassforum.com/cgi-bin/ult...=005850#000021 post.

Off position

Can your arms do this?

Coverage

The Bosch Icon blades have an airfoil shape to retain contact at high speeds.

Overall pretty happy with the results. It's kind of tough to get the blades in just the right position. They work very well but the brand new windshield helps a lot too. Oh yeah, the new arms have dual sprayers attached as well

I've wanted to do that for SO long! Didn't know it was actually already a mod, so that's great to read.

Only thing I don't like is the 2 different lengths thing, but oh well.

A lot of cars have two different lengths from the factory. You will never notice...

I know a lot do, just that I'm frugal and have fresh silicone blades right now anyway...in stock size.

Honestly, I rarely use my wipers--big on keeping all glass polished and sealed so most all water beads and blows off--but I just want to do this for the lift up fact. A lot of cars, these included, lack that and it's just nice to have when cleaning and such.

Yeah mine are too... I'm gonna order me up some arms on Monday. I could use new wipers too. So this would be a good time to do it.

Not to monopolize my own thread, but you know I looked at mine outside after these new things in the pics didn't look anywhere NEAR the OEM 22" - either one. I suppose they are now, but based on travel and rest positions, why in hell couldn't a 24 or even 25" fit the driver's side?

Hmmmmm?

After seeing this thread I ordered the arms and caps. Maybe tonight I'll go wiper blade shopping. I don't feel like being the guinea pig for 24 or 25 inch blades but I'll see what I could do...
