So I'm assuming that the LO5 vs LT1 situation/debate/data is all the same for over here as it is with the wagon guys, except just AYE LOT less discussed.

Only ONE TBI thread shows up under a caddy section search.

Same shiit, different car, no?

Thanks,
BZ

Probably less discussed because '93 was the only year of these types of Fleetwoods that didn't have the LT1. Same thing, though.

Personally, I wouldn't have been interested in one of these old tanks in the least if it hadn't been for the similarities to an Impala SS.

Essentially, same crap, different engine.

Having a T56'd LT1 Caprice, I think you know what you'd want...

There are a lot of improvements in the drivetrain in the 94-96 cars. If I found a killer deal, I wouldn't hesitate to get a 91-93 350 car, but I would be seriously looking at putting a set of Vortec heads and a TPI intake and PCM (1227730)on it making it a batch fired TPI 350 with heads that flow like LT1 heads. All that for much less than $1000, probably more like $700 if you look around and scour eBay and other classified sites.

Then get TunerCat and a cable and a fist full of EPROMS and go have fun....
