I just picked it up today, took delivery around 6:45 AM, left Tampa at 8:30 PM arrived at 3:15 PM in Miami on a Greyhound, got picked up at the bus station at 6:25 AM.

The car has no rust, nice shiny white paint, very clean interior, NO vinyl top, new suspension rebuild, good stereo, Clifford Alarm.

BAD: It was in a small accident the plastic piece on top of the radiator is bent in and the condensor is bent in, 2nd base doesnt sit straight.
2. PCV valve was gummed up bad, oil cap had gruny stuff, oil in intake(if you look in the elbow after taking off HOME plate on top of the motor you see oil residue), oil residue on the exhaust pipes, and when he started the car up the smorning he said the lifters were making noise because the car hasnt been started in awhile.
3. Turn signal/hazards out, right side brake lights were I dont know why the other one doesnt work.
4. Air suspension had been replaced with Stanard Monroe shocks
5. Heater is not connected, loose hoses just lay there.
6. On the onboard display, while going down the interstate my temperature was reading 58 degrees celcius which equates to 138 degrees F.
7. 1 rear window inoperative, 1 rear window off track.
8. Ball joint(S) look like they were installed and not greased after I got car home, will grease tommorrow hopefully no damage was done.
9. Cruise control does NOT work.
10. Excessive oil leak from front rear of motor, made a 4 or 5 inch puddle after parking on day 1 of being home!

I only paid $2,000.00 grand for the car so I shouldnt complain too much, I wish I would have known about them first. Only real concern is turn signals, brake lights,

Ok, now I need your help:

1. Where is the flasher relay?
2. I changed the PCV valve with an AC Delco and changed the oil to Havoline 10W30, oil was 15w40, oil before that according to sticker was a 20W50, too thick for me.last oil was 15W40, now it has dino 10W30.
3. How would I dianose the brake lights? only 1 light works, not even the center light works. Thanks

nice ride, congrats, the flasher it's under the dash on the lefth side, the brake ligth check fuses first, then check the ligth bulbs to make sure they are ok, and still nothing check the conectors in the back, take i to a car wash and hose off the engine even the bottom so you can see better where is the oil leak at, and good luck

Oh, just thought of something. That pic where you show the redness inside the oil fill cap and tube--my '95 looks exactly the same, and we never did figure out what the heck it was, or if it was even normal or not. Ideas?

that redness is from teh water concentration, when you start the car, so it start to rust, i know you are going to say, how can it rust it's plastic, but it does, it's the material that they used on the plastic, to keep it hard, also the oil adn mixture plus heat, that's why is red. nothing to worry about it

moisture from short distance driving... I used to have it on all the cars untill every car when they were driven short distances(I had ALOT LESS red **** then you have tho.)

OK, back to the issues:

On my 94 im parting out, the instrument panel is off, the dash panels under are off, I dont see any of the two relays. Where exactly are they located for reference? Fuses are good I have already checked them out.

I will check the connections tommorrow in the trunk.

FYI: On the inside rear of the car where the two LED's tell you when your tail lights/brake lights/turn signals are on, Only 1 bulb lights up telling Me my tail lights are on, even though both tail lights work, even though I have 1 brake light working it doesnt light up to say it is working, it only illuminates and tells me 1 tail light is working(even though BOTH WorK). I had someone go outside and confirm that only 1 brake light works on the right side.

Yes, it was the car on autotrader.

Those are not LED's, they are fiber optics. There is what looks like a wire with a rubber boot that plugs into a hole in the lamp housing near the bottom. Those need to be plugged in for the lights inside to work.


I would check the bulbs first. It could also be a short in the wire. The wires are run behind the carpet on passenger side. A buddy had a short on his there. But it knocked out both lights.
