Theres a fleetwood brougham on 26"s, w/ a lift, its dark blue. If you watch it, in the begining, you catch a glimpse of the front end, and its got a custom grille. was wondering if anybody knows anything else about this car??

theres also a stock height fleet on ebay w/ 26"s....

Oh wow, look at the craftsmanship. A rectangular piece of metal with shapes stamped out of it.

Such negativity! I think you boys are just sour you didn't think of these really neat ideas first!

Old enough codjers here have been catching pics ever since the '60's of every imaginable domestic body being dropped onto old WW II Dodge Pow'r Wagons. There's been Camaro, there's been Falcon, there's been Rambler, and my personal fave = a vette. I don't even register the silly Hot Wheels look anymore.

A couple other things merit remark though. The Lambo doors are quaint, but only prove somebody has far too much money and doesn't mind wasting the look on a 4-dor, plus having that expensive mod masked over by all the other gaudy distractions. The red diamond back window rig comes to mind for those of us been around awhile. But on the other hand, suicides on a FWD would always be hte win, IMHO.

Now, that grille. Yes, hokie to say the least. But, a new factory would be like $3-400 by now, so an old stolen R/R type housing laying around and some tin and voila! = Yankee ingenuity!

Lose the chrome of course, and it's actually not a bad adaptation of a Cord coffin-nose look if you get right down to it. Now a guy that's always looking to mono-chrome more on his rig could do a slight reverse rake. . . . yup, bondo the whole nosepiece as a single unit . . . . yup yup,
