I worked on 3 Fleetwoods at my work this week, the first one was a 96 brougham with 48,000 miles, very nice. The second Fleetwood was a 94 non brougham with 38,000 miles, and the 3rd Fleetwood really shocked the crap outa me today! It was a 1999 Fleetwood Limited Edition. It basically looks like a deville but it's about 2 feet longer, it has the rear skirts, foot rests in the back seat and some wood trays connected on the back of the front seats kinda like an airplane. Very neat car, and one hell of a factory stereo system!

Very cool--were they in for any particulars, or just usual stuff?

As for the '99, yep, those are unique. They were essentially "factory" (done after the initial build, but to essentially factory specs and trim) '98 and '99 Devilles, and with the stretch, they saw it fit to name them Fleetwood Limiteds. Nice cars, and a lot more so than your garden variety Deville, and they're very rare and go for a nice price when in the proper shape.

the 96 was an oil change, the 94 was an oil change, air filter, fuel filter and throttle service. The 99 was very nice and was just an oil change. The Fleetwood's that I see come in the shop are usually basic maintenance, nothing major like the newer caddys. "Dustman" I am not on that site, but I heard it was very helpful.

Sounds really accurate of the real world ownership of these cars

My Dad used to have a fully loaded 1998 Fleetwood Limited. He sold it to a collector up in Boston. That car was neat, tons of legroom, had a laptop hookup and tray in the rear, moonroof, two CD changers, 6 bolt wheels, Concours style grill, etc. They bring pretty good money if they are loaded with neat options. I think my Dad's had 78K miles and he got $14K for it.

There was one on ebay last week. I think it was a '99. It had a 6 inch stretch between the rear seat and the trunk. It had the table in the back with tv and all the controls. I never knew they existed, I thought someone made a mistake by posting a deville in the fleetwood section. She was black on black and in mint shape. I checked for it after I read this post and it was no longer there.
