so... basically.. my fleetwood was taken away from me because someone didn't want to stop for their red light. but,

somehow i managed to find another burgundy on burgundy, 95 fleetwood with 90,000 miles. 1 owner, near perfect condition. for only $400 more than what the other one cost me.

heres a small comparison if anyone cares.

Wrecked
96 FWB
1 owner
104,000 miles @ accident
cost $5600 CAD
air suspension severly leaking
broken gas guage
nicer exterior
interior not so nice. but decent

NEW
95 FWB
1 owner
90,000 miles
$6000 CAD
new shocks all the way around
odomoter flashes in and out sometimes
nicer interior
alot of door dings on both sides!

seems like after all things considered i got basically a twin of my previous car. i'm not sure how it worked out but i am definatly happy about it.

i finally heard back from the insurance and it turns out mine is written off for sure, i don't know how much money we are going to get for it though, i'm also trying to aquire the wreck seeing as how it would be so valuable to keeping my new one in good condition.

my summer rims/tires are going on tomorrow and my exhaust and tint are going to be getting done this week too.. i will post pictures for sure to show the progress.

glad to be back in business and so soon.

You the one got T-boned masked behind a left-turner at a light? Glad you weren't kilt. Good score.

Congrats on the buy.
If the paint is in decent shape and all you have are dings and dents; just call the dent man. He can remove all the dents without having to paint or use bondo. Im sure they have guys that can do it in the Toronto area. If not let me know. I know someone that will be able to help.

Is this Canadian or American dollars? My Fleet was $4500 US with 80k. It was mint and everything worked. And mine, too, is burgandy on burgandy.

6000 Canadian is what i paid for the new one.. a little pricy but it there was only 2 listed on autotrader and this one was an exact clone of my other one so....

ohh.. also.. insurance gave us 4 grand more then we paid for the other one.. so everything worked out perfect in the end.

i've got my 20's back on.. i'm getting the windows tinted today. and i'm getting cat back bent up tomorrow afternoon. i don't have a camera at the moment but i'll start a new thread soon with some pics.
