Well guys on my way home from work I was at a light trying to yield so I could turn left. Well a crap load of cars were coming so I thought I would just wait until the light turned red and I got my green arrow to turn. Well I hear a very familiar barge horn and looked in my rearview mirror and what I saw shocked me! I saw an adriatic blue 95 or 96 Fleetwood that appeared to be mint. Anyways there was like a 90 year old woman driving it and she honked at me like 10 times and then flipped me the bird! I guess she wanted me to turn into traffic or something, old people need to chill out! So thats my story and I hope you guys find it humorus. Nice Fleetwood tho, real clean, I had to laugh over the whole thing! Lata bad ass fleetwooders!

Haha! There's really only one other main Fleetwood locally and it's driven by an older lady from our church (still not sure of who exactly, though), a DGGM & Neutral '94. Always looks mint, and she's never just slugging along, so I usually just see a passing glimpse.

That said, looks like you had a run-in with one of the rare remaining "original" buyer/owner's of FWB-land.

well she started it! ... lol
that's a good one, also if you've got a gater behind you and want to lose them, you can always tap your brakes if a light turns yellow.. they usually assume you're stopping for the light and slam their brakes as you roll on through

This isn't a Fleetwood story but it fits the theme.

I was in Miami on business and am sitting at a light to get on the entrance ramp to the Sawgrass Expressway. I am sitting behind a Turbo Bently with an older women driving (I'm 54). Some young girl (20 something) in a Mustang GT drives around me and pulls along side the Bently to try and beat her down the ramp. The light goes green and both girls floor it. The Bently jerks sideways ever so slightly as she breaks the tires loose for about a half a second until traction control takes over and she is gone leaving the Mustang behind. By the time she hits the end of the very long ramp the Bently has about ten car lengths on the stang and she is still hammering it. I'm driving my turbo diesel GMC 3500 van and run it to the 103 MPH govenor trying to catch up. The Bently finally slows to about 80, I catch up and give her a thumbs up that she gives it back (Good looking women).
The Mustang decided to just lay back.

Moral of the story, be careful what "Land Yachts" you pick on, don't bring a knife to a gun fight.

And they summarily have their ass handed to them.

Jumped into the FWB last week, since we had some nice dry weather, gotta blow the cobwebs off. Had some young dude riding my bumper onto an an entrance ramp for the Meadowbrook north. Right near Hofstra, musta been a college kid.

Well, lets just say that after flexing the HO bar and laying into the gears and CPT, a fwb will tear-up your average small-litred chit-box. Luv the way the setup barks the tyres into 2nd. I can only imagine what it looks like from behind. Cad jumping a half inch sideways.

btw, my dad's getting older and he's starting to drive like an ahole. Like it was his last 15 minutes to live. I nagged him, cause he used to bitch me out for switching lanes on the LIE. Which you most certainly need to do if ya dont wanna just sit there.
