well i've had my back seat out for a long time, finally found Something to work in the front for now.
my buddy gave me his drivers manual bucket from his 85 camaro.
he verified the camaro seat ships at 26lbs
and with him holding the stock caddy (CLOTH) seats(had him do it because Me + either seat = Buried Scale), we verified the passenger side (40%) to be about 53lbs and the drivers (60%) to be exactly 70lbs.
so -53 + -70 = -123
-123 + 26 = -97.

all in all, i just dropped about a buck!
and lastly, once i take my stereo out tomorrow (everything but the sub/box) i'm nearly positive i'll be below 6 seconds 0-60mph and estimated around 14.0 in the quarter.

good news to me atleast seeing i haven't touched the motor
and i am hopefully getting my car weighed tomorrow, i'll update if i do. my friends have me convinced i'm under 4000, but i'm doubtful.

Man i can't wait for the 373s/400lb eaton and the 3200 edge this winter... sorry for rambling, just wanted to share with the fleetwood guys!

CC i dont know you're mods, but unless you're in some super -DA at one of those east coast tracks, I dont think RAISS, and free mods are going to get you to 14.00 in the 1/4 mile, unless you have other mods you're not mentioning..

OK, I'm gonna' get Buffman's back here & I'll be genererous & say the quickest this Caddy is going is 15.5 in the 1/4. Whatever gadget he is using to "estimate" his times is NOT a timeslip snatched from that little shack on the return lane of the 1320. The wagon & the Caddy weigh about the same, so if you want to know what mods (other than pitching your seats & other essentials) it really takes to get to 14.0 on street tires, check pg 1 of my home-page, take it for what it's worth, as I've only been working on getting into the 13's for three years now. BTW, the 3.73's & Edge 'verter will buy you a full second if you are starting with base 2.56's BTW, seing as you haven't touched the motor, I believe the 3200 will be a bit much.

I ran a 15.1 with the mods in my sig, and I was running stock 235s in the rear (and 2:56s). I'm getting 3:73s and a posi soon... can't wait to get some runs in after that.

3200 stall is fine. He's planning for the future, that's all... I know custom has a cam lined up already. I see a 14.5 - 14.7 for ya... No go get that time slip!!!

oh and i've been "working to get into 13's" since March.
that's when i got the car.
have not been to a track yet, so i guess i can't backup myself in that aspect

and there may be more little stupid mods, that's all i could think of off hand

and thank's eddie, yes i do have that cam still but am thinking about selling it because i'm leaning toward a fresh block and LE3
