You can also fill the cracks and then WRAP the dash in vinyl. I'm really happy with mine, although the guy cracked the dash reinstalling it.
Can still barely see it though, UNDER the vinyl. And the surface looks perfect. Use a high quality UV resistant satin textured vinyl, and have a pro wrap it for you unless you're very handy.
If you can reinstall it without cracking it, you're good to go.
