Interior lights stays on even when locked

All of the sudden my interior lights stay on,
not when driving so dont think its the door
switch, anyone have a clue what it could be?
Ive pulled the fuse so battery doensnt drain
over night, car is a 1996 Fleetwood

1996 DCM SS on N2O
1996 Fleetwood BBB
1995 Fleetwood Brougham White
1994 Fleetwood Brougham Blue
1992 Sedan Deville Burgundy
1967 Fleetwood Eldorado
2008 Crown Vic Police

had same problem in my 93 FWB. One of mini switches (in left rear door) was bad.
So still, check them first.

ok, did the lights go out when you where driving though?

I had the same problem it was my door switch on the rear driver side door I pulled it and replaced it with one from the junk yard

Same problem here, different approach. Pulled the brown chime module.

No, they stayed all times on.
As i didnt find here new switch, i just cut wire from bad switch.
Yes, then one door didnt launched interior lights anymore but other 3 still worked great.

Edit: ah, i see, yours arent lit when driving - my case was different.
