I'm not having any luck finding the push-in clips that hold the half-inch wide horizontal moulding under the rear window of a vinyl roof Brougham. It seems the part number is 10188888, and it's discontinued. Didn't have any luck finding info or a p/n for a substitute.
The clips used where the moulding curves round the C-pillars are available, but they're different. They're p/n 20742994 and don't push in, but hook/slide onto nailheads.
If you've had no luck online with the likes on Rock Auto and such, then most fair sized cities will have an auto paint / finishing / body repair type supply house. These usually include all manner of widgets and trim clips and fasteners sold in bulk.
I'd try that route for NOS, or to eyeball something close that you can mod up for your app.
OTWI (Off The Wall Idea) If nothing available new or left at the junkyards then maybe drill out the studs with a hole, - glue plastic studs (use plastic model parts sprue) to the back side of the trim at the said new body holes, - and use a tin speed nut like what holds on the front grille and bottom door trim hangers?
Not sure what connector you are talking about, but there a couple of people on layitlow.com that carry parts for Fleetwoods. Prices aren't always the best, but they have hard to find items. MR.GM84 is with a place called Cadillac Connect and I have had good experience with them.
if your using new clips I'm sure it would , i never like the drive through car washes, I've always hand washed my fleetwoods.
