I installed my 6500 today - I got a plug from walmart for a 2000 Ford F-350 and it came with 4 different plugs that were all attached. I used the one that fit, connected all the wires and amp/sub with the RCA cables and all I get is BASS???? I also get no sound when I plugged my XM radio and only bass from the DVD???

Anybody have any ideas? Did I get the wrong plug? I connected the speakers direct to the head unit and ran a seperate RCA to the AMP/SUB (Basslink) - I even plugged the factory unit back in and it worked fine

Sounds like to me that you hooked the RCAs to your audio input for the sound from dvd player to the subwoofer output. Just need to recheck your rca jacks on the back and make sure you have them connected correctly.
