I have the Pioneer AVX-P7300DVD. There is a clearance issue because of the knobs for the A/C. What I do is, I pop the knobs off everytime I open the radio up. You don't have to do this if you don't want to. Your radio should have a way to adjust the angle of the radio. So, you can have the screen sit straight up and down and keep your knobs on the dash. You have to set your angles just right. If they are not right, then you will wear the gears down fast in the radio. And that means off to the shop. On my radio, I have to take the knobs off so I can see the screen more clearly. So, just take those knobs off and save yourself the trouble. HTH.

With my Pioneer unit, when it sits straight up and down, the back of the radio is on the A/C knobs. So, I pop my knobs off. Anything to save those gears in the radio. They will go out eventually, but you can help them from going out prematurely. And with my unit, you can see the screen better with the knobs off, and the screen adjusted farther back.

Thumbs up

I work part time at an audio store here in Tucson AZ. AUDIO 2000 and I have the VRX755vd in my ride, no problems at all. even though shortly afterwards i ripped my car apart (nothing OEM in my ride anymore" but the Clarion is a great buy. The VRX745vd and the new VRX755VD dont have That stupid brain to locate under your seat, all you have to do is install the unit it self. all self contained
