94 SS, floor lamps come on, but no dome or door lights

Having trouble with a 94 SS. When the door is opened,,the floor lamps come on, but not the dome light or door lamps. That eliminates the door switches, but why do the floor lamps work and not the rest? Do the door lamps and dome light share a relay separate from the floor lamps?

All fuses are good.

We need more information. Is this a new problem or did you buy the car this way? I can not see a simple way for the doors and overhead lights to fail.

There is a a separate roof harness and door harness. There is not one plug that would shut down both.

Iirc - those all come on at the same time through the door switches. So if only the floor lights are working when you open any door, that would tell me you most likely have a break in the circuit somewhere causing the other lights not to work.

Attached is a link to the courtesy light circuit which should help you trace down some wires and do some testing.

Check the drivers side b-pillar harness, they can dry up and short out !
I found this same issue with my ss.
